let's away

Tomorrow I'm off.

Slept two hours last night. Packed all my bags, wrote the last recepies and organized my binder. Felt wonderful to take the day off. I'm longing to bed and I can hardly believe it's only midnight and I'm done. There's nothing I have to do.

I think this will be a great camp.

moving in

Therese and Hanna got stuck in the traffic just a couple of hours after they left home so they didn't arrive in Stockholm until ten at night. I thought I was going to fall asleep waiting, don't know why I'm so tired, but I'm glad I stayed awake. We all moved Thereses stuff into the apartment and now the livingroom looks a bit like a warehouse. That's fine though, it's nice to have some company over the weekend.

Visited my brother today and processed some films I had laying around in the darkroom. It went okay considering the abscence of running water in the lab and the lack of space. My parents really have filled that small room with all kinds of stuff. Feels like they've kinda cleaned me out.

water

And the water was great!

Blue and big waves. Noone cared about the swimming ban and how do you explain a floating deck if you're not allowed to swim. Really. Some guys tried to flirt and wanted to help us up on the deck, but we just swam on. Floating on the waves. Boats passed us by and a duck fled to the safety of the rocks.

Efterwards, when we had enough of the sun we went back to my place and ate chocolate cake with tea. It was interesting how the conversation turned more to politics when Ulrica joined us. James and Venla never talk about the world outside our lifes.

And I finally found someone who's not on vacation and has agreed to help with my questions.

New hope!

people

I don't like people.

Right now I don't like people, usually I do like them. Well, some of them.

I've been trying to plan this camp I'm going on. As head of the kitchen I had this dream that I would've set up the menu and found an answer to all my questions at the end of this week. Then I would take a ferry out in the archipelago somewhere and call my parents so they could pick me up with their boat and I could spend a few days on the sea. Sun, seagulls and blue waves.

Today I realized that the people who know the answers to all my questions, the people who has the documents I need to set up a meny and plan this camp so that I wont have to worry about a thing once we arrive, those people have gone on vacation.

On vacation! And did they tell me? No! So now I have to sit and wait for them to come home before I can do anything else. And what about my vacation? Don't I matter at all?

I don't like people.

dinner

medium_060716_-_middag.JPGSince I was going to church yesterday I figured I could take my bike to my parents house, eat something there and then take my bike home the next morning.

Turned out my parents weren't home and even though I like to think of myself as completely broke I realized my brother was worse off. Instead of having my parents pay for my dinner I ended up giving all my cash to my brother so he could buy some food and I bought my dinner at Café Tre Lyktor. I shouldn't complain though, it cost me hardly anything and the company was great.
